Research interests

Mechanism of cadmium toxicity in a small rodent, the bank vole. A role of metallothionein in oxidative stress and metabolism of heavy metals. Oxidative stress in the brown adipose tissue and liver of cold-acclimated bank voles and rats. Testicular toxicity of fluoride in the bank vole. Effect of melatonin on cadmium accumulation and toxicity in bank voles and mice. Effect of polychlorinated biphenyls on cadmium toxicity in bank voles.
