Research interests

Comparative studies of functional and regulatory properties of key metabolic enzymes from tissues of evolutionarily related domestic and wild animals which have different life conditions, e.g. rabbit / hare, ducks, in aspects of environmental adaptation (J. Czerniecki). Interactions of enzymes with coenzymes (P. Dobrzyń). Kinetics and regulatory mechanisms of bioenergetic essential enzymes from muscles of rats with induced heart ischemia and effect of cofactors, vitamins and hormones given in vivo (A. Tylicki). Investigations of catalytic and regulatory properties of glycolytic and Krebs cycle enzymes from breast and hart muscles of pigeons during their different movement activity (J. Kondracikowska).
